Wednesday News from the Dem convention!

I enjoyed meeting the many DU folks that showed up at Skinners DU party at Clery's. Among the many highlights, the Pants on Fire truck stopping for us so we could get a few pictures must rank quite high.

Today the Secret Service has lifted its ban and declared umbrellas safe to bring into the Fleet Center compound - must be the rain!

Boston Protests to date have been mild - rather fun - adding to the Kerry bumpersticker/buttons, one can get a CD from the LaRuchies, a guidebook from the Scientologists, a sticker from Democrats for Life, a bag of Cruelty Free products from PETA (to be enjoyed while eating burgers at Boston Beerworks?), some Falun Gong literature, and even an "evildoer" Tshirt (which I bought for the grandkids).
