they have a feed from a local Boston station. Kerry just said you can't see all of the convention because of the "talking heads" on the TV. LMAO. That was hillarious

2. Have you noticed the quasi-negative tone of the "talking heads"?
Edited on Wed Jul-28-04 11:06 AM by eleny
Kerry was waiting to be told it was time to go to the boat. But the announcer said he was just "hanging around talking to people". Then pointing out how he referred to the news folks as "talking heads". And then implying that he wasn't going to make the scheduled exact time to get to the rally right now. Then, the other announcer pointed out how there weren't many people waiting for him at the rally site but that all of a sudden people were showing up. She didn't know if they were emptying the buildings around the rally site. It was all being carefully orchestrated. Their whole tone is one of mild impatience. In other words - What beatches!

(Edit: The announcers are all from WCVR-TV Boston.)

5. Yeah -
and instead of noting that the conversation was about Cheney needing a time out, the news person zeroed in on his "taling heads" reference. Obviously, that was more important to her. /sarcasm off.

6. Here it is in this article too
The politicians, too, obviously feel they deserve more air time. As the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry (news - web sites) himself put it: "It's a shame they don't cover these things more. ... The talking heads keep talking and you can't hear anything."
