We get too worked up over 20 people. |

In a poll of 1000 people, it only takes 20 people answering differently between one poll and the next for Kerry to go from 2% ahead to 2% behind.
These numbers are gonna bounce around within a 5% range for each candidate until election day...we need to calm down about them.

there are swings. Why isn't Kerry gaining ground they repeat over and over.
It is hard to ignore when network and cable news keeps repeating the same refrain.

..but there's a +/- 3% error in the poll...
um, doesn't it kind of make it dead heat?
And plus, who the hell are they polling half the time? And if you poll 1,000 people, is it really a clear picture?
