That's why Kerry should not run away from the 'flop-flop' tag. As long as we keep allowing the Rethugs to define us and allow their tags to mean something negative, they win. Accept the tags and ascribe our own meaning to them.

"Tax and spend." That's right. We tax the wealthy and spend it on the needy.

"Big government." That's right, but not Big Brother.

"For gay rights." That's right, we are for everyone's rights.

Hells bells, he is just helping it along. Look at Afghan. and Iraq. They are both a total mess. Iraq had no Al Queda ties until we invaded. Now they are all coming out of the woodwork. The speakers don't have to "bash Bush", they can just point out what is happening or not happening. Too many people are getting killed. And people (Repubs.) see him as "keeping us safe?"
