Psst. Hey, right wingers, if you want wedge issues to work...
...you can't have a Republican president who takes things so far to the right.

Bush is a uniter, not a divider. He has united the left. You really have only Bush to blame for the fact that the left is paying no mind to the wedge issues.

If you had a guy like Reagan or Bush I, who at least were able to put up a facade of moderation, then the wedge issues might peel a few voters away from the coalition.

That's how Bush II pulled it off in 2000. He managed to look like he wasn't such a freak right winger. But now we know.

Give up the wedge issues. They aren't going to work.

Just try to tell us why you think Bush is better. I know, I know. It's hard. But it's all you have left.

of course, a handful of corporations own most of it already. Bush just wants to help with the colsolidation.
