Federal Reserve: Believing In Hell Has Its Benefits
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Economists searching for reasons why some nations are richer than others have found that those with a wide belief in hell are less corrupt and more posperous, according to a report by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

So what is a projected half trillion dollar deficit for 2004 compared to a finding as compelling as this?

1. Not much supportive evidence cited in the article

They conveniently skate past the fact that America is deeply corrupt, and the only other country cited is Ireland.

My own studies indicate that countries where people use toilet paper are far more prosperous than those which don't.
