Jennings:I thought I was going to be talking to 8 people and a GOAT and I wasn't to sure about the 8 people but the first two nights have been the largest audience on AOL, just one of the providers, has had in its history so maybe there is some consistency with the polls where people tells us this the most important election of their lives.....

I know some people here don't like him but that is the national news I watch. Jennings never attended college-he went to work in journalism from the getgo.
O'Reilly was trying to diminish what was happening at the convention (surprise) and Jennings said that it was important and relevant (see the AOL numbers alone*) and that it was important to cover it...later on he mentioned that the Republican convention was going to be the same and O'Reilly either missed that/he changed the subject.
Very cool loooooooong slow wet ________ slap of O'Reilly (grad of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard-after "Hard Copy").
