. . .I thought we were supposed to hide him so said the pundits. He did not just show up he was introduced along with Mondale and McGovern.

3. Yep I saw him too
looked pretty good. Was that his wife next to him?

SCREW THEM TRYING TO TELL **US** WHO CAN AND CANNOT AND SHOULD AND SHOULD NOT BE AT **OUR** DAMN CONVENTION.

Seriously, screw that. The talking heads on TV (read the republican party) do NOT control what we do and don't do at our #$%($ convention.

6. He's been there all along
The local stations here in Boston have been interviewing him throughout the convention...Tonight was the first time I saw him on one of the national networks.

7. I loved what he said when asked about Mass liberals:
If Mass is such a bad place why do all the republicans send their kids here to be educated? and went on to add...like G Bush ! It was one of the best lines Dukakis ever came out with.

9. Hey, good times!!
The one great thing Clinton did in '92 was bring back Carter into the fold after he was treated like radioactive material for 12 years. It's nice that we don't throw losing candidates onto an iceberg and send them out to sea anymore.

10. Mike Dukakis has not been hiding at all
Yesterday he cleaned an NECN (New England Cable News) reporter's clock, and good!
The reporter asked him about the picture of Kerry in a clean suit and how it compared to his 'helmet' pic back in '88.
Dukakis looked at him and said (I'll try to get it as exact as possible);
'You guys are out of your minds. That is news?? Our children are dying overseas, people have no jobs..' Reporter; 'but, but...' Dukakis; 'Why are you even covering this. Really, you people are out of your minds' and walked off.
Now that was awesome :-)
