Edited on Wed Jul-28-04 10:04 PM by WilliamPitt
He's leading the Alabama crew. Watch for him: Redding Pitt.

THERE HE IS THERE HE IS!!! He was the guy to the left of the African American fellow speaking "on behalf of John Kerry."

Sweet!

:)

12. Saw it!!
Just before PBS took off the roll call. :grr:

I'm now watching BBC World News. For once I would have been happy for UNC to not cling so closely to their schedule.

Hope you got a chance or two to meet up with him. I recognized his name when it was announced and I believe that is the first time I have ever seen him.

I was looking for sn older guy in the Alabama delegation who looked like you. I thought that might have been him. Cool biz.
John
My grandmother (3rdGenDem) accompanied her father, my great-grandfather Elias (do the math), to the 1912 Michigan Republican Convention in Bay CIty (hey, he got an invite as one of the city ward bosses) wherein the party first split into the Repubs and the Bull Mooses.
Nasty words were exchanged and chairs were thrown between the two factions. The cops were called and more than a few people wound up in the city jail for the night. She thought it was great -- one of the highlights of her political life, and she lived to be 93.
Say, we couldn't be so lucky as to have something like that happen in NYC, do you suppose?
