1. we have to get the fairness
doctrine back. Ralph Reed on CNN; Zell (go to hell) Miller on MSNBC.

If this doesn't stop soon, I think I'm going to blow a gasket.

In the meantime, stick with C-SPAN. Unfiltered bliss.

4. Even WITH cable, some can't get C-Span.
We get Bravo! after 6 PM, some people get Telemundo or such. C-Span's the ugly stepkid, ranks somewhere below the "TV Guide Channel" and the test pattern.

And would a benevolent God allow Tucker Carlson on PBS? Something to think about.

12. geez, give me break !
For convention coverage this year, cable is essentially all there is, and my point remains that we have to get the fairness doctrine back.

Don't get in such a snit me when I complain about the bias of CNN or MSGOP. Take your CAPS AND VENT TO THE NETWORKS! And BTW, the theme of this thread and others is the preponderance of wingnuts on cable.

Sheesh, you've got a serious problem with misdirected anger.

6. We may have to see what they do next month...
If they don't go right to a Democratic voice after every Repug speech, then we'll have a major beef.

8. I wish they'd put Sen. Cleland up there with Zell as long as Zell is up.
Edited on Wed Jul-28-04 10:40 PM by w4rma
Cleland would make mincemeat of Zell.

And, besides, I think that old Zell needs a good talking to.

14. Zell Miller(-R)
He thinks the party is moving away from where it used to be. HMMMMMM.....We may be, except how can you then support an administration that isn't even moving right, they're going to totalitarianism.

16. Insane
As an actual Southern moderate Democrat, all I can say is he is embarrassingly insane. I may not agree with everything Democrats more liberal than I believe but I have never had more in common with a Republican than the Democrat in any race.

To say that Ron Reagan needs to remember that he once was a zygote! My God! He and the rest of us were also once a half sperm by that thinking. Does Zell and the Republicans now want us to sanctify the sperm?

Did the Republicans dig up some dirt on him that would embarass him?

Yesterday I watched CNN exclusively so I missed old Zell on MSNBC.

But at one point they had Ralph Reed on for a good 5 minutes or more talking about his take on the Edwards speech as well as in general the convention, and of course it was all bad.

I was amazed they had him on for that long (but at least the CNN anchors were somewhat combative towards him, surprisingly), will they give a well known Democratic partisan the same courtesy at the GOP convention??

20. Don't blame MSNBC. Zell is just another idiot trying to make news.
I don't fault the cable show for filling time with him. I just don't ever watch him, and if his face accidentally appears on a show I just click to somewhere else.
