I am SO PROUD of Mary Landrieu...bitch slapping Tucker

Last segment of Larry King, she was and is still on with Gergen and Tucker Carlson, and she slammed Tucker. First, all the men were using the phrase "bush-bashing" and she called them on it. She said, in no uncertain terms, that to point out mistakes and missteps of the current admin was NOT bush-basing, but viable political discourse. Then, when Tucker snidely remarked that it was strange that the Dems were playing up Kerry's military service so much, when a few years ago, they were disparaging military service and being anti-war...she became angry and turned on him, and said that we Dems are TIRED of being accused of being unpatriotic, that we are just as patriotic as the Repubs, and are TIRED of being portrayed as being weak on defense. She also doesn't let Tucker talk over her, altho he giggles when she speaks...Go Mary! Yea Lousiana!

2. If Tucker is such a patriot, he should sign up for service in Iraq...
I bet they would let him wear his stupid tie under his bullet proof vest that he would have to buy for himself!

Fuc*er Carlson, Cheneyer Carlson.....

4. Love HER!
I love the fact that Mary Landrieu spoke of the concerted effort by the Republicans to convince people that they shouldn't vote or get involved. Tucker idiotically said that there was essentially no differences between the parties so why bother voting? Is that the best they can do?
Do they think we will be fooled again? Mo Rocca pointed out beautifully (For Once) that Gore wouldn't have sent us into Iraq. Landrieu though is so brilliant, articulate and REAL. I think I am in love.

3. Woo Hoo!!! Caught only a small segment of it
She ROCKS!!! I think the Republicans are stunned that we're not taking it anymore. We're NOT letting them frame the debate. We're NOT ashamed to be Democrats OR Liberals!!! Go Mary!!!

This morning on CSPAN, I watched (in disgust) Jonah Goldberg. One thing he said is that if you slap someone, wouldn't you expect to get slapped back? He was talking about terrorists attacking us, but I think the same analogy holds true with the Republican hatriots (thank you, MM :) ) slapping us Dems/Libs for way toooooo long!
