So, it looks like Edwards has some bad boy nephews.
You see those two kids sitting behind his parents?

They must have been his brother or sister's kids.

I love those hair cuts.

1. Didnt see his nephews
BTW I posted that interview with Cate that you gave me, thanked ya for the link, and it seems like people are heh recongizing her. You're the biggest Edwards guy I know, I got a question is she going to law school or do you know her career goals. BTW AP I thought Edwards did great tonight, I loved his message of hope is on the way.

2. They were just adorable

and I feel in love with his parents!

He really honored his parents tonight. What a thrill to have your son look right at you and thank you for getting him to that moment.
It was a tear moment for me.

5. Kerry will probably pay tribute to Richard and Rosemary Kerry
Sad thing is though, they are gone. Kerry's parents were very important to him as well and he mentions this often.

7. His parents look like so many people my parents age
that I grew up with in Mississippi. Simple, kind, good hearted and hard working people who have withstood most everything that has been thrown at them. I felt like I know them.

10. I have teared up over many parts of this convention
John with his parents and even his reference of living in the segregated south where blacks had to sit in different spots at the theatre.

And al Sharpton, I had never really watch, but when he did his part in answering bush's questions, that was so excellent. The ridding the donkey....that is memorable....

And obama. I had heard his name here but to see that man speak and pull together america instead of dividing america was great. He also had many poignant points in his speak.

I didn't get to see Carter and will have to see if I can find a link on cspan for his speech.

Want to find the kids for kerry speech too.

Teresa, I have loved her ever since I read about her on kerry site.

Having ron reagan being able to have a voice for stem cell research on national tv was very moving.

hearing the michigan governor was wonderful.

Seeing all the different signs they have on the floor for each speaker. I want a collection in a smaller version.

So many of these people who are getting up are immigrants or first generation or have built their life from the bottom up, they all represent hope and the american dream.

Lots of teary moments.

3. I wonder about
you sometimes, AP. Where do you get the idea that a haircut equals 'bad boy'?

11. "Bad boy" is a term of endearment for me.
Tell me those kids didn't look like they were...well...not your typical kids sitting up in a family box for a political convention. And that's a good thing.

12. One more thing: if you don't think your kids are trying to tell you some-
thing with their haircuts, then you didn't grow up where and when I did.
