Bill Hemmer just said Rudy Giuliani will be speaking at the DNC today |

Along with Albright, Clark, etc.
The female anchor said it sounded like an excellent lineup.
Someone was talking about how dumb Bill Hemmer was last night... remember that? Well, he's even DUMBER than that.

1. Giuliani was just on Imus attacking Kerry and Edwards. |
|
Somehow I don't see him being a speaker FOR the Democrats.

2. Why would Giuliani do that? |
|
Oh and, you're right about Hemmer. He is dumber than a box of rocks. The Giuliani thing really doesn't make sense to me. I don't see that. He is a repuke right??

Bill Hemmer is a complete moron, and the anchor was just as moronic for not correcting him.

I just saw him talking to one of the CNN reporters. He's there to bash the Democrats, not to speak for them. He's putting down Edward's speech right now.
Sorry, I'm flipping around--he's actually speaking to 'cute' little Katie on NBC from the convention hall.

5. The policy of letting these fools in is perplexing. |

I'm guessing we won't have many (D) pols at the RNC...
He's talking to Rudy now and gushing all over him.
I bet he's not going to ask him about people wanting him dead like he did Moore.
I think what happened was Hemmer read the list of guests he was going to interview as the list of speakers tonight. Oh, Bill!

6. They do have a small group from RNC at the DNC Convention. |
|
I suspect that's where you'll find Rudy.

7. It confuses the hell out of me... who let them in? |
|

Why are they letting Republicans campaign for Bush from the convention floor?
They kick out Medea Benjamin for a banner, but they let Rudy rattle on and on, with a microphone no less? That reaches millions of people?
Why let Rudy drone on about Kerry's "liberal record" and so forth?
There's absolutely no way Ed Gillespie will give say, Mario Cuomo, a ringside seat and access to media...

9. I'm not sure, but I think I heard the Dems will have people at RNC |
|
convention too. They really don't have any real participation at either convention, just the occasional interviews by the media.

11. My TV viewing lasted all of 2 minutes this morning |
|
Bill Hemmer was interviewing Rudy who was bashing Edwards. I switched to MSNBC and Imus was interviewing Pat Buchanan who was ashing Edwards. I switched to ABC and they were covering Scott Peterson.
That was all I could stomach.

13. I believe Giuliani is at the DNC |
|
not FOR the Democrats but as a representative of the RNC to rebut what the speakers at the DNC say. I think this is always done, just as there are rebuttals after a State of the Union speech. I don't know who the rebuttal person will be for the DNC at the Rep Convention. Sure wish it was Cuomo. He is so eloquent.
