Oliver North was the charismatic scapegoat used to deflect the sale of arms to Iranians away from his masters. He should have been executed by now. So I guess if you're if on the 'conservative' side it's ok to commit treason. If you're a 'liberal' you can get impeached for lying about whether you got a blow-job or not.

I'll bet If I committed treason I'd not have escaped the hanging death or firing squad execution which are still on the books today.

Why the hell are Democrats NOT making a big fuss over finding the guilt party and punishing them? Novak is a traitor pure and simple. Yeah Kerry's connections got him that medal but wait you say he married to get wealthy dont you. I tried to find any history of military service for him and drew a blank. He is of the right age to have been eligible for the draft in the late fifties or early sixties. How did he dodge the draft?
