more dark clouds on the horizon-
My cousin, who owns his own "company" selling polymer resins and the like(the plastic pellets used in injection molding) and he's very worried about what's coming down the pike. In September his suppliers are hitting him with some of the biggest across the board per lb. price increases he's seen- He's truly afraid that what comparitively little manufacturing there still is in this country will start moving out faster than ever...

just some fun news to start your day.

1. Well... at least it's before the election
Bush, Clinton, and Bush... what have you done to our country with your traitorous pro-corporate, anti-American trade deals?

Was it worth it to you?

I'd love to get some answers to these questions.

3. Those resins are made from petrochemicals (oil), right?
Aren't we lucky to have a president who knows the oil biz and can get us the best price :puke:

Just another example of how favoring one sector of the economy can sap scores of others.

4. It used to be IT
and somehow, the I.T. industry collapsed (something about rolling blackouts, as I remember). What might have caused such a thing?

Now the Petrochemical, pharma, and military contractors and service providers guide the economy. What might have caused such a thing?

are in just about every mass produced product out there.

more things for china to make, and us not too.

china's unquenchable thirst for oil isn't all about the "new and burgeoning" middle class needing to gas up the car.

hunker down, ffolkes...

it's coming.
