HOW LONG since Bush held a press conference???
It's time for the press to start demanding another formal press conference. The man has had what, three of them in four years?

There are allegations of mental instability. It's time to stand before the people for examination.

Come on, media whores. Demand some time.

1. In the weeks leading up to the "Handover" of power in Iraq
He promised 5 or 6 press conferences in the month prior to the handover. After the first one (fiasco) they gave him the hook.

4. Correct. He was supposed to start giving one per week
But the first one went so bad ("I'm not quick enough on my feet...", he said), that was the last one he gave, I believe.

I got that one on tape, btw. It's a motherlode of embarrassing comments!

2. They said in the news a few weeks ago that he has had 11.

In four years. That's about 3 a year, though I only think he's had 1 this year. They need to kick his ass at the next one otherwise I'm moving to Canada! If they'll have me :)

5. He doesn't answer ANY of the questions anyhow.
Has he EVER answered a direct question with a direct answer?

EVER?

I expect the "debates" to be the same way.

6. They are waiting
So the public doesn't recognize the actors faces that were hired to portray the "press".
When they feel that the coast is clear, they will hand the scripts out and have another eh hem.."press conference".

7. You won't see another one

The only way the SImian Simpleton will ever get in front of reporters again is if bin Laden is on ice next to him.
