Hilarious Republican "press conference" on CSPAN now... |
|
it opened with the "press" holding up Bush/Cheney signs and applauding. Sounds like its going to be incredibly fair and balanced.

And I love their merciless repitition of "I voted for it before I voted against it" - nevermind the rest of the fucking sentence.
Should we start quoting only the first third of Chimp's utterances now?

That crappy combover was slicked back, and every pundit squealed about how much he looked like Robert Duvall.
Fuck Rudy.
What a pathetic little talk, too - just the boilerplate talking points.

interesting to see the contrast - this morning he was on Washington Journal and praised the hell out of Kerry's political and debating skills. Now its back to the boilerplate.

and the "press" bursts into sustained applause.
God, I hate his speaking voice.
Rudy thinks its perfectly acceptable to politicize 9/11 at the convention.
Uh oh - its gonna be REAL ghoulish.

Gillespie looks like he hasn't had a sleep all week and a shower in a decade. Rudy lost a ton of his 9/11 glamor in his testimony in front of the commission and many in NYC blame him for the problems Bloomberg has had to clean up. Notice how you don't hear Rudy's name as Crashcart's replacement as much as McCain.
Of course these assholes are going to say black is white and the meme all week is to say how nasty and bad us Democrats are. Any hint of a Bunnypants bash is screamed about and the DNC has rolled over to keep the rhetoric down and the convention on message. I've agreed with this position while I did cheer when Al Sharpton got rollin' last night, there's still a moderate middle that is tuning in that doesn't need any reason to vote for Bunnypants, but just needs ONE reason not to vote for Kerry. That's Chipmunk Gillespie's job. It's to create distractions and keep those memes like: Flip-Flop, Most Liberal and so on going as he knows the media is so cowererd they will bend over to put him or his proxies on to rebut any and every shot taken at this regime.
This is such overkill. The media and the GOOP wants to deny most Democrats hate Bunnypants? And that somehow not fair or right? To set the record straight, the detest isn't for one simian-type human imposter, but for the entire kleptocracy he's the figurehead of.
Remember that once the convention is over, the GOOP has a $70 million advantage in almost unlimited advertising time to spend before their convention when they go on the Federal clock. Kerry goes on the moment he accept the nomination tonight.
The deal is the Repugnican are in "bunker mode"...wishing the world to be different than what it is. When popular support was behind the regime, they could lie black into white, Iraq into 9/11 and people believed, the number who fall for the lies are getting less and less. Yet, these goons are so conflicted now, they fight this truth as they fight all others. May they continue to do so as it brings more and more people over to our side.
