I consider myself a student of right-wing radio nuttines. It runs from their day-to-day normal nuttiness to their Nuttiness Extreme, the mode they go into when things are really not going well for them. The best indicator that they're in the NE state comes from the Dennis Prager show today: Get this: he says that there are two parties in America--the party of adults and the party of children. The Dems are the Party of Children which is why they give air time at their convention to a 12-year old, and then he calls the kid a GNAT and claims she has "no right to attack MY Vice President."
Women & children first. Right on!
Kerry does not have to address the question tonight, but sooner or later he'll have to decide if, after the election, we can continue to allow these wackos to run around free or if we should start measuring them for straight jackets (and, yes, I realize that if Dennis Prager got a hold of this paragraph he would would dedicate an entire program to it to prove his point about what a bunch of delinquents we all are).

5. They actually said that - that the adults were now in charge... |
|
when the Supremes selected them. If this litany of blunders is "adult" behavior, I'll go back to the kids. They appear to be much smarter.
And Dennis Prager has always been a horse's ass.

13. the GOP's been saying "now the adults are in charge" whenever they've |
|
scored a major victory for as long as I can remember. It's one of their favorite themes.
And I agree with them. The adults ARE in charge: the adults who have abdicated rational thought and responsible choice. Children could run things better than they do.

3. It's called freedom of speech |

Suggesting they be put away makes you just as facist as they are.
What we need is the return of the fairness doctrine, so that both sides get equal time. The airwaves are a public resource.

to insult 12 year olds. Didn't Rush call Chelsea the Clinton family dog once? What complete and utter assholes. But I guess bullies don't like to debate people who can stand up for themselves. Better to trash little girls.

7. I heard some other RW nut saying the same thing...the end of |
|
Aug. the adults would put their show on. I don't remember who it was, but I believe it was the RW guy who was interviewed last night almost at the end of the convention coverage. He was one of the RNC reps in Boston, monotoring the Dem Convention.
When I first hear it, I was a little pissed, but, ya know, it's a lot of BS, and few even heard it.

I can't search. Can someone find it for me? I'd be most obliged.
I thought she was amazing. She has every right to speak out - as much as any american.
Prager is an ass. He can SHOVE IT!!!

10. This just makes me sick |
|
Here is an inspiring 12 year old girl who was interested enough in politics (try getting my 13 year old sister to watch CNN or read the newspaper) to get involved and embrace her rights as an American...and they trash her? Since when is American politics only a "grownup" thing? I think it was incredible- I'd like to see THEM at 12 years old get up in front of millions of TV viewers and speak their heart out about politics!
ARRGHH!!

12. Well, to your second point, perhaps Kerry tipped his hand today.... |

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=514&e=1&u=/ap/20040729/ap_on_el_pr/cvn_convention_rdp_27"For his microphone check, Kerry jovially addressed reporters at the front of the podium: "Members of the Fourth Estate, I've called you here to tell you that your reign is over."

Golly Mr. Prager, you're sure tough against a 12-year-old who isn't even present. What a man!
Whenever you'd like to try to qualify for human credentials, I'm available to whip your punk ass in a battle of facts over façades.

I was checking out r-wing radio today too and caught prager bloviating about how the Democrats "sexualize" children - referring to the Edwards daughter intro. I think the fat pervert is projecting. He was followed by medved, just as odious if not more so. His effeminate ken starr voice tends to undermine his hawkish views. They do sound exceptionally desperate today, but I don't think they're much of a threat - the majority of their demographic are in senior homes.

18. They hate kids. They hate women. |
|
They hate anyone who isn't white. HATRIOTS! Just like Moore said. They hate anyone who isn't a white male.
When my son and I were in Nashville working on the Clark campaign, my son (he was 10 at the time) was working the phone bank. He called one lady, gave his little speech (he stumbled on his words) and the lady on the other end of the phone said to my son....
"You listen to me young man. First of all, I'm a republican and second of all, if you are calling people for support you better learn your lines better than you know them!" Needless to say, my son was CRUSHED. :grr: I said...."Well, that's a republican for you. Just ignore her, she's an ignorant republican" He felt so bad and that wench had to know he was a little boy by his voice. They're just plain old HATRIOTS!
