Once and for all, this is why we are in Iraq:
Let me get this straight: It was in retaliation for 9/11, but then they stopped saying that and instead started saying it was because they had WMD, but then they didn't find it so it was to liberate the Iraqis, but then they started fighting us and terrorists started flooding the destabalized country, so then it was about fighting terrorism again, but then the 9/11 commision debunked the osama connection altogether, and now it seems to be about "furthering american interests in the middle east." Do I have that pretty correct??

:wtf:

1. Yes, and very soon they will also add
that they had to go into Iraq to keep Saddam's sons, who were twice as evil as their father, from taking over when he died.

3. No, since there was a failure of imagination that set up the attacks
they put their imagination into overdrive to cover their unimaginative asses. That's why.

11. Ah yes, but I am just referring to the SPIN reasons, the lies. What you
are talking about is the TRUTH, which we don't seem to be hearing.

9. We are in Iraq to take as much of Iraq's oil for the benefit of...
...American corporate interests as we can. That is why Bush is there, so try not repeating the BushCo lies.

13. Kerry and Edwards are openly saying...we will not send another soldier
to die on foreign soil for oil...(or something like that) to me..that means they are admitting the war was for oil.

I personally think it was for oil and profits and..revenge..for poppy
