Dee Dee Myers & Richard Trumka (AFL-CIO) Tag Team on Tweety's Head
Tweety trying to get the AFL-CIO guy to explain how Kerry isn't a flip-flopper because he's changed a position. Trumka says his members appreciate someone who can see changing times and adapt...that being dogmatic with bad ideas isn't a virtue. DD chimes in: "why don't the pundits in DC get that? (with a quick glance at Tweety!)". Trumka:" My members are smarter than the pundits in DC. They can feel something instinctively. We haven't had to sell John Kerry to our membership. Our membership has embraced John Kerry."

Terrific spokesman delivering the smack down.

4. Why doesn't anyone bring up Bush's flip flops?
He's flipped and flopped all over the place.

11. I don't know
I've never heard anyone but Jon Stewart on the Daily Show talk about Bush's flip flops. It is so frustrating. I even called the Kerry campaign and said why aren't you guys responding to these charges? Bush is a much bigger flip flopper, after only 3 1/2 years, than Kerry was in 20 years, but he gets away with it and everyone talks about how resolute and determined he is in his beliefs. My head is going to explode if this keeps up. ARGH!!

5. Super duper. Glad to hear that more and more Dems are
getting brave and decisive in their arguments and comebacks.

There was a time not long ago, when there was hide nor hair of any Democrat anywhere. They must've been snoozing. I hope this fightingness they feel lately lasts for awhile.

6. Tweet's parting shot at Trumka: "you're a great spokesman,
do you think you'll be able to keep your job (with the AFL-CIO)?"

That's right...Teamsters only relate to the illiterate. Is that the point, Tweets?

8. I loved the smackdown Hoffa Jr. laid down on Tweety yesterday
Tweety was interviewing James Hoffa Jr. and asked him, in his annoyingly smug way, how "union guys" (you know, culturally conservative, salt of the earth types) could relate to a Boston Brahmin like Kerry. Hoffa replied that Kerry WAS a union guy...a teamster back in '72 when he worked at a warehouse. Hoffa said, "he's got his union card, that's good enough for us". Tweety was sputtering....it was awesome!

10. Nation Building? who flip-flopped on that one ,Tweety?
I'm sure Tweety will ask Bush that one. What a whore. GE owns NBC, NBC owns Tweety, GE makes $600 million on war in Iraq. Ask Tweety if he is paid from money made during the Iraq war. Then ask him again. GE pays Tweety with money made from our soldiers dieing. F You , Asshole.
