Bush* Corruption EXPOSED: Pakistan arrests al-Qaida figure RIGHT ON TIME
Edited on Thu Jul-29-04 07:09 PM by jackstraw45
Sorry to create a new thread on this but I'm just so SICKENED by the way this administration is politicizing the true war on terror. The man that Pakistan announced TODAY they had captured a few days ago had a $25 MILLION dollar reward on his head.

This was CLEARLY timed, successfully or not, to take attention away from the convention. But more than that, it PROVES that the Bush* administration is using politics instead of tenacity in safeguarding our country.

WHO among us will stand up to these THUGS?

New Republic said:
http://www.commondreams.org/headlines04/0708-11.htm

"A third source, an official who works under ISI's director, Lieutenant General Ehsan ul-Haq, informed tnr that the Pakistanis "have been told at every level that apprehension or killing of HVTs before election is absolute must." What's more, this source claims that Bush administration officials have told their Pakistani counterparts they have a date in mind for announcing this achievement: "The last ten days of July deadline has been given repeatedly by visitors to Islamabad and during meetings in Washington." Says McCormack: "I'm aware of no such comment." But according to this ISI official, a White House aide told ul-Haq last spring that "it would be best if the arrest or killing of HVT were announced on twenty-six, twenty-seven, or twenty-eight July"--the first three days of the Democratic National Convention in Boston."

Pakistan Arrests Embassy Bombings Suspect

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - Pakistan has arrested a Tanzanian al-Qaida suspect wanted by the United States in the 1998 bombings at U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, the interior minister said Friday. He said the suspect was cooperating and had given authorities "very valuable" information.

1. Pakistan didn't quite get it right
It's the fourth day of the convention, not the first, second or third.

4. Pakistan got it exactly right
Now Faux News and CNN can cover up the airwaves with "news" of this asshole instead of covering Kerry's acceptance speech.

6. At least it wasn't Osama
Besides, Kerry's speech is the big news. I think it would've been better for the WH to have this come out on another day rather than having it compete with Kerry himself.

7. Nah - Pakistan arrested him 9:45 PM local time...
It was supposed to be 9:45 PM Eastern time. With America's attention span, it's forgotten already. :silly:

8. Failure or not, this is an OUTRAGE.
Osama or not, this is an OUTRAGE.

What if D-Day were delayed for political advantage?

To plan strategy against terrorists to gain political advantage is equal to TREASON in my book.

9. Treason is exactly what it is.
But then, Treason is exactly what the Bush Criminal Empire has been doing since 1924, so why would they do anything different?

11. Like, you mean
like letting a measly "election" stand in the way of their rapidly progressing consolidation of weapons and resources? :freak:

2. I was thinking the exact same thing.
Pakistan did Bush*s bidding exactly as ordered. Too bad the guy arrested is really a low level operative!

10. This is the "high ranking"
suspect who will give information leading to the capture of OBL. Wouldn't want it to be a complete deus ex machina, you know.

12. I would be shocked if OBL is alive
How is he getting kidney dialysis in a cave?

IF he's alive, then someone has been hiding him somewhere with clean water and electricity.
