No TV at work, what are pundits saying please?
Just watched on CSPAN on line. Curious as to the reactions. Can't see how anyone can say it was bad, it was even shorter than advertised.

Thanks in advance.

6. I am curious, there are votes to be won, the pundits are talking
to a heck of a lot more people than we are.

5. I always think that but then they
always manage to to find some spin. The torture scandal was the one that drove me nuts, here's a story you can't possibly spin right? :eyes:

10. PBS is doing good
Historians and Shields and Lehrer seem to be pretty well impressed--poor old David Brooks is trying to find some reason to put it down, but is only coming up with lame comments.

15. Agree with your assessment
Brooks has been able to come up with sometime bad about everyone, but is just dumbstruck with Kerry's speech. The historians' comments are wonderful. "Speech of his life" is the consensus.

thats what andrea said anyway... and chris was complimentary immediately

i was pleased until joe s came crashing in, but then everyone else disagreed with him
he thought it was a great speech that was ruined by rushed speech

13. Blitzer on CNN apologized to the public for one of their cameramen swearin
swearing when the balloons were released and it must have scared him or (not sure why the swearing)..of course then they talked about Cheney's swearing, and Theresa's comment (which wasn't swearing)...and said it was understandable.

Actually even FOX is being kind. They just interviewed Kennedy (Robert Jr. I believe) and he said he was going to do EVERYTHING he could to get Bush out of the Whitehouse. That Bush did more against pollution Than ANY other President in history. He said he would win cases and Bush would change the rules.

They aren't finding a lot of meat yet to chew on....they'll be up late tonight!1

18. No, CNN was running the voiceover of the DNC convention manager
who was frustrated that the balloons weren't coming down fast enough and kept hollering into the mic "More balloons, more BALLOONS!! Where are the fucking balloons." CNN made no mistake. They let that voicover run on purpose. It was obvious. It was drowning out the music, and the excitement. I was screaming at the TV. :grr:

:argh:

19. Pat Buchanon is praising JFK.
I just got home from work and heard Pat praising JFK, almost over the top praising, on MSNBC late night. So much so that his co stars were giving him serious gas. Is this pretty much how things have been going?

High praise for JFK?
