CNN left an open mike running near the guy who was directing the campaign special effects. He used the "f" word when the silly balloons didn't come down on cue.

NOT his fault. This guy was not supposed to be on the air, he was just a stage director. CNN should have cut that mike IMMEDIATELY, but they kept the pickup running for several minutes. But once the "F" word was released, THEN they suddenly cut the audio.

...the guy's voice would never have been heard. He was uttering stage directions "let loose the baloons" and "more confetti" over and over again for at least four minutes. These were obviously meant to be heard by tech crews only, there was no point in letting the entire USA hear a guy call go ballistic when his balloons didn't drop on cue.

And since he had no idea he was near a live mike, unleashing an obscenity was hardly his fault.

and they knew he would blow a gasket. He had already said "goddammit" and "jesus" so they knew the F-bomb was a sure thing. It was done maliciously and on purpose. I hate CNN and will never watch them again

There has been a pattern in the media for some time now that has the Left swimming upstream in most cases. CNN lost market share to FOX a long time ago and they have been working like busy little bees to try to bring some of the wingers back to their channel. This sort of pandering has become the norm for them and MSNBC. This entire administration has gotten a free pass from the press for unknown (at least to me) reasons. Every mistake that the Dems make is front page news.

25. I watched C-Span and they had lots of shots of the balloons

and I thought it worked really cool the way it was! Instead of everyone being engulfed in the damn things, they came down in sections so it lasted and lasted and lasted.
