Because Of Fahrenheit 911- America Got Kerry's Saudi Royals Reference
Edited on Thu Jul-29-04 10:48 PM by cryingshame
when Kerry mentioned not being dependant on Saudi Royals.... it will have sunk in much deeper because so many of us have seen Fahrenheit 911.

Bank on it.

Edit- Thanks Mike! :)

2. I think Kerry referenced F911 indirectly a lot
The Saudi reference was the most blatant, but I could tell he's seen the movie. And he knows his audience has seen the movie. I thought Michael Moore must be proud.

3. That is what make F-911 an important part of the campaign!!
Out of all the people that saw the movie... how much of what was in the movie was known by the viewers? Even those that knew... the context and way it was put together gave it more force and burned it into their minds.

5. Bandar Bush

is crapping his pants. I mean, what if the US really develops
alternatives to oil and doesn't use his oil anymore, does anyone
believe the House of Saud would last more than about 10 seconds?
No more private jets and plush retreats stocked with european
hookers...

6. He said on an interview he never saw the movie...
But I suspect he might have seen it just that he doesn't want to talk about it....

9. Hee hee hee
I'm just about speechless. Everything was perfect. On CBS, John Roberts was saying he wasn't sure if Kerry connected with people at home. I'm convinced that he did!

So many people are responsible for Kerry's success tonight, and Michael Moore certainly holds a special place among them.

10. The Saudi Arabian Cantidate
I haven't seen the new remake of the classic movie, (is that because it doesn't open until tomorrow?), I just remember seeing it first-run with my parents when I was a kid... still can't see Angela Lansbury without thinking QUEEN OF DIAMONDS!!!!

OK... so I went off-topic. I do that a lot.

13. Because of F911, Kerry MADE the Saudi Royals reference
I seriously don't think that would have been in the speech without the movie.

C ya,

The Plaid Adder
