I got to know this For REAL !

How many of you who have my Cd notice how much I said on tht CD was repeated in the speeches. The people who got the CD first was the DNC and Clark and Kerry. and my Dear Friend Max Cleland. They all have it. Did you Hear lines I said in December. I was smiling from ear to ear. I started using the Two america's line before Graham and Edwards did. I acutally said that "Wouldn't it better for some of those young people who are homeless get an education and maybe not face jail. That was said. The part about the stopping those cororations from going offshore being penalized... I kept saying we can do better. America can do better. Was a place of hope and a beacon for democracry . We did not have a candidate when that thing was recorded. I referred to our candidate.A lot that I covered in that CD almost a year ago , I heard parts of it in the speeches this week. Did anyone else notice? and I wrote that all from my heart.
I am not ego tripping, I just wanted it to get to the right people and from what I heard in so many speeches , it sounded like some of those folks listened to what was said. Did anyone else notice? Even down to my title Take it Back was on the planning board right after the Invasion of Iraq. Hmmmmmmmmmm..

Men have the most curious habit of listening to women then, a bit later, discovering the idea they had heard with the absolute belief it had just originated in their brain.

I think of it as sex-linked genetic denial.

4. I talked to John Lewis for about an hour

when I handed him the CD after the DNC had a copy before December.
Rep. Lewis who was with john Kerry told me he was giving it to Sen. Kerry and I said, No this is your copy, and he said I promise to give it my undivided attention. Then when I called Jen at the DNC, asst to Terry, she said they heard it and then made a copy and sent it to the Kerry campaign. I got a lift from thinking they used some of the ideas that weren't just mine but all of yours too. I did the CD but much was said right here !

3. Seems like the DLC & DNC has been paying a lot of attention to what many

working in grass roots groups were hollering about way before it was cool to be vocal.

Yep, your voice got heard. Many of our voices, many of the little things we banter around here and on other boards, many of the things we complained about and brainstormed about got heard.

Somebody has been listening and incorporating it into a package. The party listened, learned and acted. My faith is renewed.

Vetwife, now you know how one person can make a difference. Sleep well with that knowledge. Tomorrow, take the lesson a bit further. Next day, further still.

Strength to you in your work. Strength to all of us. The ship of state might just be saved yet, because We The People are still rocking the boat. It is how things are supposed to go in America, in OUR America.

6. Well I know this board is visited as well ! I know that...

Seems we got some pretty fine point across. I nearly fell out on a couple of lines. Lines I used a lot in that CD. Made me proud ! Thanks for the encouragement but it was all of you too. Just wondered if anyone else noticed some of the speech lines. Kewl !

7. All I know is they said what I needed to hear.

And, yeah, stuff I've been yammering about for years. Of course, I tend to be a WHOLE LOT more brutal.

8. LOL...I tried to stay where, who ever got the nomination could use..

and think they pretty well covered a lot. Word for word stuff just can't be coincidental. I wanted to be brutal but tried my best on that CD to be optimistic pointing out bad with what could be done with hopefulness.
