Wonder how hard the twins are being trained right now?
Their tutors have their work cut out for them. I hope they don't stick their tongues out too far.

11. THAT wouldn't even be a debate....it would be over before it started....
The Bush Twins would end up crying....it would be too delicious for words....

24. I think perhaps the Bush twins should debate
Jack and Emma Claire Edwards instead. It would be a fairer fight.

5. I'd like to see them speak as well as
Alexandra and Vanessa Kerry.

I bet any money that they couldn't even do half as good of a job as Alex and Vanessa did.

6. Vanessa and Alexandra Kerry just trounced the twins..
.. there is NO way either of them can come close to that. They were brilliant. Though I musn't discount the fact that most girls love and idolize their fathers.. so the Bush twins sure love and idolize theirs... so it's possible one of them might hit a home run with their speech.

7. I doubt the Bush twins idolize their father
He's said and done a lot of mean things to them. I get the impression that it is a very troubled family. I don't think that Laura is as happy a stepford wife as she appears, either.

13. Kate (the 22 year old) scored a perfect 800 on her math SAT.
Which to me, who scored 400 on both my attempts, means she's a genius.

17. I bet the Bush twins couldn't score 400 combined....
Wow...that's impressive...I think I got about 650, which at the time I was told "was great for a girl"...whatever that means...

19. Edward's daughter could start crying...
when THE twins* made a statement that she felt was threathening.

That would make THE twins* bad.

20. Alexandra was clearly proud of her father tonight
There was one great moment in which Kerry was on a roll, he'd judt made a very impressive point, and the camera cut to Alexandra wiping her eye with a tissue. There were several other moments in which she appeared to be filled with pride...that "Go, Dad" spirit.

14. They won't speak
They'll just be used as props.

As far as I know, nobody has ever heard them speak. There's a reason for that.

15. I don't know if they're going to speak
I really think they're just scamming the party out of a hefty paycheck plus expenses....I didn't think they were doing "volunteer" work.

Like father, like daughter....They're doing as little as possible.

22. glad I just put down my icy beverage!!!!
too true!

I heard Russetboy say tonight that he thought the Bushtwins WILL be speaking at the convention

I await this with unadulterated glee, cause, as another poster has said, I don't think, either, that they've said anything that's been broadcast on TV. If they had, we'd have known about it.......look how ape they went over that Vogue shoot the last two weeks or so.

I'd be very surprised if they ever speak in public

if they're capable, we'd have heard by now, donchaknow?

21. Considering that their father
considers them a "pain in the ass," I doubt they'll have anything to say. But hey, I could be wrong. Maybe we'll hear a funny story about how daddy missed their court appearances - you know, stuff the average chimp voter can identify with.

25. Rove will make up a loving daddy story for them to tell
Edited on Fri Jul-30-04 01:21 AM by dmr
the convention.

From all that I've read, Bush* has been a detached father, at best.

So I am sure that Rove will think up a sweet little story about a loving and caring daddy moment for them to tell.

Then Fox, CNN, MSNBC will play it up, hammer it in, repeat it and replay it until it becomes the truth.

FreeRepublic will get all warm and gooshy over it.

Karen Hughes will do the rounds on Leno, The Today Show, Good Morning America so on and so forth ... getting all teary eyed remembering being told the story way back when loving George* was Governor ...

When George* does Meet the Press, he will screw the story up ... oh, well, daddy's are like that ...

:puke:

Edit: bad spelling
