For the past hour there's been a guy behind Ron Reagan with various anti-Kerry signs. Finely crafted of the finest crayon. One said that Kerry deserted the military, another had pictures of waffles, a third had Edwards chasing an ambulence. He's been out there for the better part of an hour. I find him amusing in a puss-busting sorta way.

Methinks this is the Freeper crap about Kerry betraying the military through his testimony in 1971. I remember that testimony and how grateful many of us were to hear someone who wore a uniform step up and speak out. He described the war as it was...not as though we weren't seeing it every night on our TV screen. Kerry helped liberate many of us by creating a bridge between the military and the counter-culture. Damn right the Repugnicans hate it, it destroys one of their biggest bread & butter issues of the past 30 years.
