Bush* is not a Veteran. National Guardsmen are not eligible for Veteran benifits and are not considered Veterans, and the Republicans are blocking Democratic efforts to change that so National Guardsmen in Iraq or Afghanistan will become eligible for the same benifits as those they are fighting beside. It is a shame that an injured National Guardsman is not eligible for Veteran health care.

you sure of that fact, it seems like when I was to a National Guard outfit, once they were activated that they had full military benefit's.
