3. Imminent Death to those school kids in Florida that Chimpy
placed at sever risk by sitting in that class room as terrorist were blowing us up and out to blow up our highest political offices. So much for steady leadership.

5. From that thread
"if Hillary (TM) should be appointed Chief Justice"

I never thought about that before. Could Hillary's consolation prize be an appointment to the supreme court?

8. Maybe not Hillary but maybe Bill and Al Gore both
Wouldn't that be a Dream come true. Both Al Gore and Bill Clinton appointed to the Supreme Court for Life?

13. Morons don't even know that Al Gore is not a lawyer?
and thus can not ever be on the Supreme Court? BC can't unless his removal (disbarment) from the Supreme Court Bar were removed, but that's another issue.

14. Not Bill
Bill got his license lifted. No chance. I don't think Al even has a law license. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I have heard the Hillary thing before though. She's got the credentials.

9. Bush is reckless, not decisive on this subject.
Edited on Fri Jul-30-04 11:59 AM by HarveyBriggs
Bush has yet to demonstrate to me coolness and clarity of thought while under fire. Instead he is reckless.

On weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, Iraqi ties to Al Queda, his seven minute lapse in judgement when he heard that the second tower was attacked all demonstrate his tendancy to freeze under fire, and a disturbing recklessness in his reactions once he thaws.

There are two distinct personalities revealed in threatening situations, 1) those who freeze and later panic in response to the adrenaline surge and 2) those for whom time slows into minute fractions, allowing them to react with phenominal clarity in thinking, and clear purpose in eliminating the threat.

In observing Senator Kerry's war record, his past political campaign behavior, and witnessing his behavior here in Iowa when Howard Dean's campaign had the Senator's back against the wall, I see a man who consistently rises to the occaision and effectively deals with his threats.

Long ago, I believe that officials in the Texas Air National Guard whose responsibilities were to judge the ability of a man to react under stress discovered that George W. Bush lacked "the right stuff." And in deference to W's father's position in congress, allowed the younger Bush to quietly slip out of the cockpit of a fighter jet, and into an obscure record of non-service and non-compliance.

John Kerry is one of those rare individuals whose decision making ability and intelligence rises with a threat. He's the kind of person we need leading this nation in these threatening times.

As for George W. Bush, he has cried, "Wolf" once too often to be President of the United States of America.

16. Exactly -- it's all the more reason to get the incompetent Chimp out
As General Clark said, "I'm not attacking George W. Bush for attacking the terrorists, I'm attacking him for NOT attacking the terrorists!"

And we can add to that, the Chimp has done nothing to secure ports and chem/nuke facilities or to provide local first-responders what they need. How on earth can anybody still believe this is some Great Protector??
