Watch what you say, watch what you do! To "Dixie Chick" becomes a verb. "Coalition of the willing". Shock and awe. Guantanamo gulag. We can hold prisoners, foreigners or US citizen, indefinitely without charges (the powers of a pre-Magna Carta king). Abu Ghraib. And all the associated damning memos. Gasoline prices. Outsourcing of America. Banning stem cell research. Quack quack. "Defense of Marriage" amendment.

This is from just a couple minutes, sitting here, just off the top of my head.

My point, in listing these? What a crappy ass 4 years it's been! The point is, Repubs can nit pick JK's supposed record all they want. Their man is the incumbent. This is what he has brought upon us. This is the kind of 4 years we've had! Point this out to some people--do they REALLY want 4 more years of THIS? They are going to blame all of this on 9/11? Or the DEMS? I don't think so.


By contrast, Carter negative associations: "Malaise". Hostage crisis. (Failed rescue). Energy crisis/gasoline lines/OPEC.

I'm sure I'm missing some, but I think shrubya's got JC beat by a mile in this category.

Elections after a first term are a referendum on the incumbent, NOT the challenger unless the challenger is a total nimrod (NOT the case here). shrubco should not win a single damn state if there was any brains or justice left in this country.
