Nice things that happened with the media yesterday:
1) Buchanan loved Kerry's speech.

2) Scarborough liked it. (he will go back to full freeper craziness today)

3) Ron Reagan was wonderful.

4) Bowtie Carlson looks more like an idiot every day. And senator Boxer, John Cusak and other people made it very evident.

5) Jon Stewart made the "talking heads" look stupid and biased BEYOND belief. He only had to make a face after he showed them talking about Al Sharpton's speech... amazing.

6) Turtle Gillespie (appearing on CNN even before the balloons fell down from the ceiling) looking like a sweaty jerk.

AND ALL OF US ARE ENERGIZED TO KICK THE CORPORATE MEDIA IN THE BUTT!!!

1. Wolf isn't looking so good today, and last night both Woodruff and Blitzer
were babbling idiots after Kerry finished.

Plus for once I saw Democrats out numbering republicans on both MSNBC and CNN.

I only have to think about Kerry telling the press, "Your long reign is about to end" and I am covered in happy goosebumbs.

The media whores are going down, and it is a great feeling.

2. In case anyone's kicking CNN's butt, viewer comment line is 404-827-0234
You can leave a message anytime, or talk to a real person during "office" hours.

8. CNN's coverage was terrible
Thank God nobody was watching. MSNBC kicked Faux and CNN's ass this week. I actually thought there coverage was pretty good.

3. Candy Crowley had a near on-air meltdown when Aaron Brown...
asked her for comment after Kerry's speech. She seemed disoriented, grasping for something to say, looked around her, and said it was sad, it was over, a few people remained, the balloons hadn't come down. Aaron looked bewildered, remarked on Kerry's speech, and got Candy quickly off air.

6. Yep, she was looking a little harried. (Or is it Kerry'd?)
How much more repugnantly Repug can she get? Viewers want to know.

17. I like Aaron Brown- yeah, he looked like he wanted to laugh his ass off
at Candy and tell her that he has no idea how she has the job she does, because she sucks....

4. Anybody catch Frank Luntz on MSNBC last night? AND, for that matter,
the night before?

Last night, he looked like he'd just come from a FUNERAL!

I noticed, in his "focus group from Cincinatti" segment, on Wednesday night after Edwards' speech, that he was smug and a little cocky. Very sure of himself and his footing. Smirking, slightly, also. The reaction wasn't exactly stellar. Oh well, I thought Edwards underperformed a little, myself.

BUT, LAST NIGHT, he was sober as a judge. Not a smile, not a smirk, NOTHING! He looked like he'd just gotten a good scare, or that the principal had just sent for him. The reaction was VERY good, almost EVERYONE in the group said they thought Kerry did better than they'd expected, and quite a few of them also said that they'd gone from "against bush" to "FOR Kerry." It was clear that Luntz was sobered by what he found. And the electronic reaction graph he showed, even he had to admit, was almost "off the charts" regarding some of Kerry's remarks. He is VERY disquieted by what he's seen.

It's a PLEASURE!

7. edwards may have underperformed on purpose
He may have wanted Kerry to be the one to Really Shine.

I thought Edwards and everyone else did a terrific job. And then to have Kerry knock one out of the ballpark was just wonderful.

13. not really funny-----this spin is what many will believe--see 2000
Gore apparently won the debates, but after media spin.......who knows.

As a poster on M Malloy's web said late in the 2000 campaign....

....'with all the media spin during this campaign....it's possible Gore will win, but the media spin will never let us know.'

And what happened??????????

15. Lutz's wig-hat looked a little crooked last night
His brainwashing words were not effective on the polled crowd, Kerry came at the repukes with Kryptonite.

14. I think they are praying for only a five point bounce
I fell like it'll be 51%-43% for Kerry by Monday, some border line Bush voters may have been temporarily peeled off.
