|

10. little glitches happen |
|
when you plan and coordinate a huge event. If it hadn't of been pointed out (so rudely), I would have assumed that they delayed the balloons for effect. I wouldn't have even known it was a glitch if people hadn't of made a big deal out of it. (There were too many good things to concentrate on in my opinion.)

22. the only thing I've heard about the balloons |
|
was here on DU. I watched on CSPAN.
However, I would vote for the balloons themselves before I would vote for the Chimp.

23. It was a controlled balloon drop. |
|
We don't drop everything at once, we have more self-control.

I just assumed they wanted to draw it out and not do it all at once.

I didn't know there was a problem until I heard about the CNN "controversy" afterwords (we watched on CSPAN).

can't stand up straight on a Segway, how can we expect him to run a country?
This actually reminds me of a great quote on pnac.info about Neoconservatives:
"How, they wonder, did so many conservatives, who normally don't trust their government to run a public school down the street, come to believe that federal bureaucrats could transform an entire nation in the alien culture of the Middle East?"

Knee deep in balloons looking really pissy, demeaned and ridiculous last night?
LOL!
I think they may have dumped extra balloons where the media whores were located--I think they managed the balloon drop in just the right way! I loved it!

24. I can't remember the last time all the balloons fell at once. |
|
Every time I've watched it starts with a slow trickle of balloons which crescendos into a big release after several minutes. Which is exactly what happened. And I'm betting that's exactly how it was planned.

|
They've built up the largest deficit in history
They've alienated our international allies
They've gotten us embroiled in a war with a nation that posed no threat to us
There are millions of Americans without jobs or health insurance
They are raping our environment
and they're talking about BALLOONS!!!!
Pathetic.............
