Will the Faith based Administration drive America into Theocracy? |
|
It all started with the Faith Based Executive Orders. Bush signed these into law and said that Religious Contractors need to protect their religious identity.
This allows Religious Discrimination pushing back decades of Civil Rights gains. What were all the struggles for? One President has opened the gates for Religious Discrimination.
Will Bush sign the 'Restoration' Acts into law. The 'Restoration' Acts are the Religious Liberties Restoration Act and the Constitutional Restoration Act. Both Acts are establishments of religion and not just unconstitutional, but anti-Constitution. So will Bush sign them? All signs point to yes.
Why is it that Bush says America is 'fighting' Dominionism overseas, but welcoming it with open arms over here?

The religion issue is one of my peaves... I am so sick of these conserva-Nazi xtians that it has ruined the interest I once had in matters spiritual. Now, thanks to them, I have no interest in any of that BS and would rather see religion removed from society than suffer another moment of some brain dead jesus freak hypocritcally ranting on about right to life while rooting on the war pResident...
As I always say.., as regards religion, the soviets had it right.

That this scares the holy living crap out of me, and could well put me past the edge where discourse stops and revolution begins.

You folks are teetering on the edge of an interregnum, and I seriously worry that four more years of this maladministration will tip you over. Thanks to little gems like "The Constitution Restoration Act of 2004" the ghost of Nehemiah Scudder is lurking in the wings, dreaming some truly evil dreams.
I saw Kerry's speech last night on CPAC (our C-SPAN) and he had me on my feet cheering a number of times. I hope he makes it - you guys deserve someone like him after what you've been through.

6. That's their stated goal. |
|
It's their explicit goal to establish the United States by law as a Christian nation. Anyone who underestimates these whackjobs is blind.
