1. But look at the real republican party, not this set of neoconvicts
The party of Lincoln, of equal rights, of minimal intrusion into private lives of its citizens, of fair and equitable taxation. Which party created the EPA? Which fixed social security a few decades ago? Which party created the ADA and ADEA?

but those thinkers and rational people have been missing in action in today's GOP. Today, us dems must take not only our positions, but the best of their former positions, because there is no one left there that we can count on to do the right, honorable, moral and fair thing. Then again, good ideas are not copywriteable. They can be adapted and adopted by anyone with a useable brain.

Oh. that explains the neocons, doesn't it?
