The party's over.
Now the work begins for each and every one of us. We have to swing votes. We have to get every single Kerry voter to the polls. We have to work for our candidate.

Get that Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker on your car!

Put the yard sign up!

Go to the Kerry web site and sign up to volunteer. If you don't hear back from them, go down to the nearest headquarters.

Talk to all of your friends and your family. Work to change minds or to move the undecided.

Check to make sure that you are on the voting list.

On election day, be responsible for seeing that 5 other Kerry people get to the polls...haunt them, nag them, drive them!

Make the time to do these things because our collective future depends on a Kerry victory in November. Simple as that! :-)

2. ok
here's what I am gonna do when I get home today. Put a kerry sticker on my dad's car. Ive already signed up to volunteer and will be attending a local dem meeting in town in a couple of weeks. Most of my friends and family are already behind him. I Cant vote so I cant get out on election day but I'll try to get at least 5 people in my classes to vote for him come next fall.

4. You are a sweetie, JohnKleeb!
Be persistent about volunteering...the people manning these efforts are out straight so you might need to bug them. I'm doing door to door canvassing every Sunday until the election. It's just a couple of hours a week but it may make a difference. Good luck and enjoy!

5. I am gonna be volunteering full time once I finish my job
Maybe on weekends when I dont work, I'll head up to the local shopping center and pass out flyers. I need my printer to work to do that though. Well, you know my state as my governor said is coming out of the desert. I am willing not to have much money for myself if I volunteer full time in the fall after school. Ive been meaning to do more, not only will this, enable me to experience politics first hand but I may meet some people and get a better tan heh.

6. You will love it and
the experience will be invaluable. Elections are won in the trenches through hard, persistent work. I have learned things like a rainy day usually favors the incumbant...elderly people vote, rain or shine, young people often don't vote. People who get a reminder call on the day of the election will usually vote even if they planned to blow it off.

7. And RAISE THAT FLAG right by that Kerry sign.
Take back the flag from the fascists who have defiled it for decades.
