5. Members include Hillary Clinton, Diane Feinstein,
Loretta Sanchez, Bill Richardson, Evan Bayh, Tom Carper, John Warner, Mary Landrieu to name just a few.

They are mainstream Democrats who want to restore Democracy.

9. Its just a difference in how people choose to interpret things....
I see these people as mainstream, moderate to liberals. Others, apparently, consider them far right wingers who are no better than Republicans. Figure out which group you agree with.

To me, the DLC are basically the centrists. Bill and Hillary Clinton. Al Gore, John Kerry and John Edwards are all DLC. Dennis Kucinich, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank are not.

Maybe that will give you an idea. Its basically the difference in left and center-left, but some people here insist on painting DLC members as far-right extremists.

To each his or her own.

10. The DLC specializes in rolodexes and donors
And "access." They'll be whatever you want them to be - left-wing, right-wing, whatever - so long as the deal is made and consumated. They specialize in shaking the money tree, and they're quite good at it.
