I just signed up to volunteer for the Kerry/Edwards campaign...

I was so impressed with Kerry's speech last night.. I have to get out and help with his election. I encourage anyone that can... to take the initiative to do the same... we can't take a chance and allow this administration to have four more years...

If we elect Kerry... hopefully for two terms... then Edwards would be in line to be elected... with Obama as V.P... we could have 16 years of Democrats in office...

1. I just went on the local Dem webpage and let

them know that I was available to do whatever is needed to get Kerry elected. Maybe I can walk around putting flyers on windshields; sure could use the exercise after years sitting reading DU.

2. Kerry's speech is a call to action...

Never in my lifetime have I felt such a need to stand up and be heard. I am sick and tired of being called unpatriotic...that WE HAVE to support the President...and that Democrats are somehow immoral because of the abortion issue...

3. be sure to call your local Dem party headquarters and ask who

is around from the Kerry campaign. Then talk to them and see what they need......

4. I called yesterday to volunteer.

I've never volunteered for a political campaign. Should be an education.

are also a good place to meet other Kerry supporters. Sometimes a bit disorganized, but always fun.

6. Here's to you. However you won't only be helping Kerry , you'll

8. Volunteering is a lot of fun

I volunteer for Kerry here in San Antonio and was actually contacted to and did volunteer at the Edwards event here last weekend. It was so much fun and you meet a lot of great people.

The best way to get involved in your community is at the meetups. We have a HUGE response here in San Antonio and have over 20 commitees (GOTV, Media, etc...)
