This may have already been posted, but... |

I'm sure many of you saw that when the balloons weren't dropping at the right speed, CNN had the mic of the director on. Nobody would have noticed that the balloons malfuctioned if that guy's mic wasn't on. I don't think that was an accident on CNN's part. Not that it's that big a deal, it was just sort of annoying. Damned right wing media!

1. It seems to rouse right wing assholes a lot more than it does any of us. |

So you probably don't have to worry about it.

2. Your right.. I didn't know it until you posted it here... |

I watched on PBS and I thought it was perfect how the balloons fell... a little at a time... to prolong the effect. They just kept falling and falling... I thought it was pretty cool watching Jack Edwards looking up in a way a child only can... I don't think he will ever forget that moment with thousands of balloons falling... :-)

3. You have to wonder why |

a behind the scenes technician had his mic fed into the broadcast feed. There is no reason for it to have happened other than high jinx. Hat's off to the pukes who pulled that one off. Owe ya one.
