Here's a tragic/appropriate/unbelievably stupid freeper comment:
My mother, whom I've recruited to convince her working-class, neuveau-riche (sp?) friends to vote Kerry (since I myself don't know any conservatives) reports this story when she and her friend "Chicky" (she knows a BUNCH of women nicknamed "Chicky") tried to convince some freeper cousin of "Chicky's" to see F911.

Chicky: Oh, you should go see F911.

Freeper Cousin: Oh, no, I couldn't! That might change my mind.

And here on DU we all know that a mind is a terrible thing to change.

4. It is horrible, but
I have to admit that it made me laugh. If only it were just a joke.

3. Can't change a mind you don't have in the first place!
Great comeback if I may say so myself.

6. Do you understand fear of change
this person is afraid it would change her mind. What about the fear that we've KILLED 900 of our most patriotic sons and daughters for a LIE. Bush* killed thousands of Iraqis for profit, and she's afraid deep down of not trusting Bush* or herself.

7. Ugh. I have the same problem at work.
I've even offered to pay for the tickets and the sheeple still won't go because they "don't want to know about that stuff." Huh?
