Jack in the Box's new commercial - aping on "Freedumb Fries"

Funny, they have a kind of "Hardball" parody where a frenchy is peeved that Jack has called his fries "Natural Cut Fries" - without the "french".



Talk about being behind the times...

refer to french fries as 'fried potatoes'. "Pommes Frittes", which means literally 'fried apples." The French word for potato is "pomme de terre' or 'ground apples.' The French response to the Repuke Congressmen referring to 'Freedom Fries' should have been: "Why should we give a shit?"

I noticed it's also a backhanded insult to O'Reilly types - cuz the french host keeps going "yes or no" just like a wingnut - and then the Jack in the Box guy goes - "ehhh" and does the little wavering it depends hand sign...

It's like a way of saying the world isn't black and white and there is a middle way...etc...
