John Kerry's campaign bus..... |
|
Does anyone on the bus read DU ? We know Chris does - if he's riding on the bus. If so, I think they may understand the concerns about the $87 billion and other issues. They already addressed the "Results Matter" on their home page, is my understanding. So I don't think any of your suggestions are disappearing into a vacuum. We have to keep fighting. They need our help. We cannot operate on the premise that no one else is reading what is posted here. DU is an anonymous thinktank. Better that way than if dscovered and talked about by the mainstream media.

1. I had read the most concise response to that issue |
|
yesterday. It was attributed to Edwards. (Sorry am link-i-ly challenged)
Went something like. . .
The bill was never in any danger of not passing. Voting against it was in essence, a "protest vote." Edwards & Kerry were protesting how the money was being spent (see charges of 27 cases of fraud cited on commondreams.org's homepage) and how it was being funded, borrowing money from our kid's and grandkid's futures.
Now for that troublesome IWR vote. . .

2. That's too complicated. We need something like : "The money was |
|
for Halliburton". Plain and simple, please Mr. Kerry.

"the money was for Halliburton," and it's going to cost your kids.
