1. And land on his head?
Just as long as Jeb breaks the fall, and you're OK.

:-)

3. My mother always said
If all your friends voted for Jeb Bush, that doesn't mean you should jump off a bridge too.

4. It's unthinkable.
And it won't happen. Neither will 4 more years of the current Bush. And neither of those milquetoasts from hell are worth jumping off a bridge for, though I know where you're coming from. If I could claw my way out of the alternate universe we slipped into late 2001, I would. I now understand why many in the '60's dropped acid and dropped out. Before suicide and mind-blowing drugs, I'm going to go with non-violent revolution.

9. Better Idea
We should all move to the same small country and turn it into a democratic paradise and then go to the U.N and say that we are the real United States in exile.

12. I Know.
The current prick is a waking nightmare for us as it is. Jeb Crow Shrub not only flaunts his arrogance, he makes put-down crap comments to people. Besides societally raping with his policies.

15. Caligula - 3 Years, 10 Months, 8 Days
It took the Romans "three years, ten months and eight days" to get to know the real Caligula. This would take us to, uh, November 2004.

******QUOTE*****
http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/ancient/suetonius-caligula.html

.... rearing a viper for the Roman people and a Phaethon (": a son of Helios who drives his father's sun-chariot through the sky but loses control and is struck down by a thunderbolt of Zeus") for the world. ....

.... he poisoned Tiberius, as some think, and ordered that his ring be taken from him while he still breathed ....

.... By thus gaining the throne he fulfilled the highest hopes of the Roman people, or I may say of all mankind, since he was the prince most earnestly desired by the great part of the provincials and soldiers, many of whom had known him in his infancy ....

.... He even used openly to deplore the state of his times, because they had been marked by no public disasters,.....and every now and then he wished for the destruction of his armies, for famine, pestilence, fires, or a great earthquake. ....

.... ruled three years, ten months and eight days ....

13. I am reminded of Douglas Adam's comment
To paraphrase why do the actions of someone else make you wish you had never been born. Why not wish they had never been born?

16. Why should you kill yourself?
It will simply be evidence once again that the system of government we have here in America has failed us.

17. You and me both!
I'm going to throw a party when he leaves office. He's wrecked enough here in Florida I don't even want to think about him being president.
