What percentage will turnout to vote in special CA election ?
Less than 50%? We're lucky to get 50% in a national election. Less than 30%? I think that is more likely.

At the present time, we are told that 80% are against Davis and 20% are for him? Now here is the question: What part of that 20% that support Davis will be in the 30% total that might vote? He could get half of the total votes (1/2 of 30% of the voters) which would only be 15% of the possible total voters in the election and that would give him 50% of the votes and would defeat the recall. So, if 20% now support him and he can get all those to the polls, he should win in a cakewalk. :)

1. Early indications indicate turnout equivalent to a presidential election
Connerly's Prop 54(?) will also be on the same ballot so that should hopefully help turnout a wee bit as well...
