The terra attack is sure to come. Here's when and why...
I will not predict the actual date.

But know this: It will BEFORE the first scheduled debate.

Bush cannot afford to spend ONE minute before the nation in a debate with John Kerry, so....there will be no debate.

I know. I know. The moderators have just been chosen.

But consider this. If Kerry destroys Bush in a debate, a thousand October surprises won't help Bush.

In fact, the White House has already GUARANTEED that there will be an attack in August or September, and NOT in October.

So get ready for the Trifecta anniversary, the week after Labor Day.

Bush must have his attack AFTER the convention.

1. or maybe....DURING the convention?
that would be much more dramatic, maybe shore up the pity vote. and then his righteous anger could be more 'understandable'.

3. That would backfire
Shrub would sit there on stage for 7 minutes 'collecting his thoughts' and destroy his credibility all over again.

4. With or without some kind of attack
i don't think those debates will happen period. I think Ridge will just ratchet up the warning level to code Ernie and will cancel the debates for "Security reasons."

5. You may well be right
but with Diebold and Co. counting the votes, this dire scenario is not necessary to insure Bush's "win".

7. Olbermann just showed a poll
Edited on Fri Aug-13-04 09:36 PM by in_cog_ni_to
earlier that showed that a terrorist attack will help KERRY! If we DO have an attack.....Bush is finished. He's suppose to be keeping us safe. At least that is what he says in his stooopid stump speeches.

People have finally figured it out.

8. Just an opposing thought.
I don't think the debate is a huge problem for Bush. You can't debate a moron without sinking to his level. Bush speaks in platitudes and reinforcing the same idea, like an ad. You can't debate an ad. He wins. IMHO

9. The dems willl go on the attack and paint bush as a miserable failure
if there is a terror attack. It isn't in Bush's interest to let it happen.

10. I heard all these things before the Gore/Bush* Debates
Gore was gunna cream him and Gore was a Debate Champion in school and Bush* didn't stand a chance. IMHO he didn't and Gore did Cream him but the Media spun it another way and will this time also. This time though Bush* has a record to ask him about. There may very well be a terrorist attack but I really doubt it. If the Terrorist really do prefer one candidate over the other they would not want to cause the wrong person to be elected. Unless the attack was targeted at Bush* himself I don't think one would help Kerry. They may be terrorist but they aren't stupid. That is this Administration's greatest mistake, their arrogance. They believe no one is as smart as they are, especially an Arab. They are no where near as smart as they think they are.

11. I think they'll try to get it right this time... meaning, they WILL get an
attack going, but then...MIRACULOUSLY....shut it down before too many lives are wasted.

They will then paint themselves as HEROES because they aborted the attack.

12. Don't fall for this crap! It's keeping the fear factor alive!
I don't buy it! There have been several comments by people with real intelligence experience say that you don't warn the enemy with all these alerts. If you have specific threat info on buildings, you secretly protect them, and try to capture additional information or terrorist links. That makes sense to me!

I learned a long time ago that you can't possible know everything, so you listen to those who tell you they do, and judge if it makes sense. If it does, there's probably at least some truth to it. If it doesn't make sense, it's probably wrong!

This belief has never failed me.

All these alerts do not make sense at all.

if you have a mole in a terrorist organisation you don't blow their cover either, so what to do?

14. Ohio, or another swing state will be the likely location
Or somewhere nearby. The intent, of course, will be to ensure that people feel sufficiently scared to be afraid to dump Bush and hire a new president.

19. Now why is it hardly anyone trust George Bush?
'Tis amazing that we find this cretin so sneaky that he would damage human life to obtain his goal and the goals of those he represents.

After going through all those phony terror alerts, I'm very afraid. And there is a big doubt in my mind that 911 was on the square and was unavoidable.

We do need duct tape and sheets of plastic and a vaccination and a long vacation for junior.
