the mere fact that there was so much discussion about protests during the convention, and that expected large protests were PART of the overall story of the convention - you'd THINK that, alone, would be a CLEAR signal to people - a demonstrative signal - of just HOW UNPOPULAR this regime is. You'd think CNN and other news outlets would look at that, READ the writing it's leaving on the wall, and do some quick calculations about what kind of audience share that is - and to whom they should really be pandering.

You didn't see crowds of marchers as far as the eye can see - in Boston, against the Democrats, DID YOU? Even with most of the news coverage predisposed toward the opposition. They would indeed have shown such a thing if it had existed. Gee - I wonder why...
