How many of those flag-draped coffins represent your home state?
Fifteen represent soldiers from Mississippi who have died in Iraq.

That is a very somber thing to watch. Very sad.

11. Depends on what you believe...
Edited on Sun Aug-29-04 04:54 PM by floridapatriots
Yes, I live in occupied territory, controlled by two sons a bushes and a swarm of rednecks. However, there are many of us who oppose him and therefore the collective "Florida" does not love him.

Now if you want to listen to the state controlled media and the majority of NASCAR fans & their like, yes, that Florida does love him. And if you are seeking knowledge as to why "they" love him? Good luck. Maybe it is that they share the same mental illness or genetic defect that makes George insane. The same one that blinds them from the truth even when it bitch slaps them in the face. The one that makes them.....fill in your choice of absurd George follower traits...

Truth is I can't help you understand him or them, I lack the psychology degree required to diagnose the disorder. If you do find an decent explanation let me know.

17. California is my state

I'm not sure how many precious soldiers we have lost.

California has Arnold to take care of us however --- he is such a phony.

13. Michigan: One represented a classmate, one my sister-n-laws cousin
USMC Maj. Kevin Nave was in a Mid-east PoliSci class I was a TA for....he made a speech at the age of 21 to the section I was involved with a year or so before his ROTC commissioning into the Marines (I think it was about 1989) that made me feel embarrassed for him, but think - hey, somebody's got to do the job, and if this skinny kid wants to be a Lt. in the Marines that's great, means I don't have to do it. It obviously made enough of an impression I remembered him 15 years later.

Now he's dead.

The sister in laws cousin was, according to my father, a crew member on a that Chinook shot down killing a dozen or more....

My brother and I don't really see eye to eye on these issues, so the details are a little slim.....

8. I wonder if one thousand coffins.org has considered using these
again - in another venue - they could define how many troops have died from our states - this is such a profound thing - it should be repeated again and again in other cities.
