Wow. People were still waiting to start marching...
When the front of the march reached its end, according to NBC news. That means people covered the whole length of the route and then some.

1. It was so surprising when at 3:30 edt
while the marchers were still marching CSpan said the march started at noon eastern. Then while the march was still going on DUers came on and posted they just got back from the march!

What a great display of Democracy!

2. the trarffic cam at 6th and 34th
showed the sidewalks packed with marchers carrying signs an hour after the march was supposedly over.
