I am trying to write Nascar to comment on Rummys appearance in my |

battle ground state, during election year. It was extremely disrespectful to the other half of the people in my state. A 9/11 firefighter, policeman, leader of a K9 unit that worked ground zero or Someone from a families of victims group, anyone would have been more appropriate.
But to have Rumsfield lead in pledge of Allegiance was the height of insensitive. The crowd looked like they didn't like it either. It was all that patriotism and Repub crap.
All I can find is Nascar.com website..that really doesn't have a place except opinion on the race...nothing reallys stands out as the place to comment to or write to. Any suggestions, emails or other.

6. I am not sure what you mean by what did I expect...Nascar is not |
|
just a repug sport. The track is Richmond tonight..but of course there are tracks all over the country. Who ever planned the events for the evening should have been more aware that it could have raised hostilites. The day the say "Hey we only cater to the Repugs of the world, I'll stop watching." I don't care who their in bed with aslong as It's not in my face. If after I contact them, I get a nasty response from them, I will stop watching the sport and buying the items. No problem.

Daytona International Speedway is the corporation that owns the track. ISC is the corporation, it is run by the sister. Remember the France family owns 8 of the tracks, and also owns NASCAR itself seperately.
Bryan (or is it Brian) France is now the CEO of NASCAR, but Bill Jr still runs the show behind the scenes.
The headquarters is located on Speedway Boulevard, Daytona, Fl. just across the street from the track.
There is also a new R&D facility in North Carolina.
hope this helps.

7. Rumsfeld is an admitted war criminal who even owns up to violating |
|
the Geneva Convention on treatment of prisoners. He had his puppet lawyers write him about how to immunize himself against war crimes charges before the Abu Ghraib revalations. That alone disqualifies him from speaking for any one of us.

8. Yep, I'm done with NASCAR 28 or more years... but no more. |

Pres. Bush is scheduled to be on later in the month. Also the Nascar's CEO is a contributor to the Bush/Cheney fund and to elect Triplett to the 9th.
I loved my racing but...It will not be the same for me now.
