Is there a roll call vote for the assault weapons ban expiration? |
|
And if so, where is it? Was anything voted on now or did just get avoided?
I say this because Wayne LaDouchbag from the NRA just claimed that a majority of republicans AND democrats were against the ban.

1. The law was designed to sunset. |
|
There's no need for a roll call. Congress has had a very long time to pass the renewal, and they never did.
There are plenty of Democrats on this very message board who were against the ban.

2. No, it was kept from a vote.... |
|
And despite LaDouchebag's claim, I doubt even many Republicans would have stood up in public and voted to put assault weapons back in stores.

3. Yes, it took place in 1994 in both houses of Congress |
|
The expiration was part of the bill that became the AW ban.
