The media keeps asking the wrong question, it isn't about the memos |
|
The authenticity of the memos isn't what this is about. If these memos had never seen the light of day, the underlying FACT of this whole fiasco would remain the same.
FACT: Bush had his flight status revoked because he was a no-show for his annual physical.
All of the talking heads have asked "are the memos real?"
Almost none have bothered to ask "So why didn't you show up for that physical, Mr. Bush?"
What a bunch of whores the "liberal" media are.

3. I hate to use X-Files as an example, but |
|
remember when Agent Scully got called to testify before a Senate committee and she said that when people with the power to get to the bottom of a thing keep asking the wrong question, it's because they don't want the right answer?
If the people with the power to get the answers really wanted the answers, they would just say, "Mr. President, would you put these questions to rest once and for all so we could move on? Why did you stop flying? What did you do in Alabama? Why are these records so difficult to find?" The fact that they won't even ask the questions tells us that they know the answers just as we know the answers.
The media is aiding and abetting Bush in perpetuating a fraud on the American people. Again.

4. If the memos are false, |
|
then this could work much to our advantage -- as long as we can keep the spin from replacing what this really shows.
Because if the memos are false, then this means that they were probably plants. And this shows the sort of dirty tricks the opposition is up to. It also shows the kind of people that they are. And it shows that they are working to intimidate the press.
The neos are self defining. Let them. Just don't let them get way with the spin.
Besides, it is clear that Bush was given favorable treatment and took his duties less than (fully) seriously. And anybody who is going to get confused between form and content is not going to vote for us anyway. And of course this all exposes that form (spin) is what the neos offer -- not content.
And be prepared for lots more dirty tricks.
